The group stands in a circle with the leader standing in the center. The leader points to a person standing in the circle and calls out the word “ee” the person responds by clapping in rhythm. The leader moves randomly throughout the group saying “ee”; participants must try to keep their claps in rhythm. Once group is able to do this, then the leader claps at a person and the person must respond with “ee.” After this part of the game is clear, the leader switches randomly back and forth between “ee” and clapping. Participants must be prepared to participate at any moment, and be ready to respond with the correct response. When a mistake is made the game is paused and then begun again. Participants can be eliminated but it’s not necessary.

When a person gets out they move into the center and become the leader. This works best with older students who are able to keep the pace consistent; being the leader can be challenging.
